ON CONNECTION
Among photographs, textile processes, and performative gestures, I’ve been connecting pieces of handmade developing, weaving images, and stitching together a mantle that gathers some of the ideas that move through me today. From that dialogue between what is revealed, the textile, and the body, these poetic images have emerged—still in progress, but shared here to open a window into what I’m creating.
Inventar lugares (o desorganizar los comunes) incita a la apertura en las posibilidades de representación. El arte de jugar a interrumpir. La idea de producir discontinuidades sobre la subjetividad. Practicante de este arte, para el cual no hay manual ni programa a seguir, más que sostener de manera compulsiva y deliberada las preguntas de la imaginación: ¿por qué? y ¿qué pasaría si…?
